Heather Erskine Hinckley grew up in Sudbury, MA. She began her
college career at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and studied
abroad at the University of Leeds, England. After graduating cum
laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Heather went on to
live and work in Boston. She worked at Harvard University as a
Writer/Editor, facilitating the publication of a Psychology
textbook as well as the monthly Harvard Mental Health Letter with
Dr. Lester Grinspoon . Heather spent nearly ten years
in the Back Bay, South End and Beacon Hill neighborhoods.
Moving to Newport in 1993, Heather sought to gain clinical experience and
worked as a Family Support Worker at Child and Family Services and
later at the Greene Lane Group Home. In 1995 she and her fiancee sold
their home on Prairie Avenue and headed back up north to Boston.
Heather went on to work as a private investigator, a city bicycle
courier and later entered the corporate world of Public Relations, where she climbed the ladder from receptionist to Human Resources
Manager at Miller/Shandwick. Married and pregnant with her first
child, Heather opted to move to Wolfeboro, NH
where she spent the next seven years renovating a camp on 3 acres
of land with a private pond. Heather later sold the camp for
profit, and began her next endeavor as a preschool teacher, which
allowed her to spend more time with her daughter while teaching at
her preschool, and not too long after she began teaching, she took
on the position of Director of the school.
After having her second child, Heather and her husband decided to
leave Wolfeboro, NH for the hustle and bustle of
Newport, RI. Heather immediately became licensed as a Realtor, and
spent four and a half years with Bellevue Realtors before joining
the Libby Kirwin Real Estate team. Heather, among her many
accomplishments and titles, is also an Accredited Staging
Professional through the Barb Schwarz Program.
