Born and raised in upstate New Hampshire, after high school Kelly took a leap of faith and traveled Springfield College to pursue higher education where she earned not only a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education but also a Master’s Degree in Higher Education. Kelly’s determination to make her family proud finally landed her a great position at the acclaimed Salve Regina University as the Director of Community Service. Kelly’s dream of living by the beach had finally come true! Since becoming a resident about seven years ago, Kelly has become a staple in the Newport community. At the university, Kelly has focused her efforts on helping students understand the importance of education and community service. Further, Kelly has spent countless hours volunteering her own time for Hope Funds for Cancer Research helping families in need. Shortly after moving to Newport, Kelly grew to love running. In 2007, Kelly ran her first marathon through the streets of Newport and Middletown. It was during her numerous training runs through the city that she found a great appreciation for the intricate design and architecture of the homes on the island. Kelly was so intrigued by these homes she began to pursue a career in Real Estate. That same year, Kelly received her license and began working part time in the real estate industry in Newport, ultimately landing at Libby Kirwin Real Estate in 2011. One year later, Kelly teamed up with Diana Malachowski, a fellow realtor and former student from Salve Regina University. Kelly happened to be en route to Canada to compete in an Ironman (Just 3 months after giving birth to her son Brewer!) when her clients requested a showing. Kelly approached her colleague Diana to assist with the rental showings and the rest is history! Within their first 5 months as working together, this dynamic duo facilitated over 25 rental and sale transactions. While balancing a full time job along with a budding family, Kelly continues to be actively engaged in the Newport real estate market, closing multiple deals a month and maintaining a wonderful repertoire with both landlords and tenants.
