Pam Akgun grew up in Cumberland, Rhode Island and graduated from URI with a degree in marketing. She moved to New York City after graduation and worked on a Wall Street trading floor until she had her two daughters Serra and Faith. While raising the girls in Darien, Connecticut, Pam studied art and had a successful business as a graphic designer and landscape painter.
After the experience of overseeing a major renovation in Connecticut, she took an interest in investment properties and purchased a multi-family home in Newport. After improving it into a quality rental property, she oversaw its management and finding tenants. Discovering how much she enjoyed the real estate business, she moved back to Rhode Island, got her real estate license and is now happily working for Libby Kirwin Real Estate in the property management, sales and rental businesses.
